What we do

HR consulting services

HR policies & handbook

Leave, attendance, WFH, code of conduct, POSH and more — written in plain language and aligned with Gujarat and central labour law.

Performance management (PMS)

KRAs and KPIs, goal sheets, review cycles, rating scales, calibration and increment frameworks.

Compliance & HR audit

A gap check of registrations, filings, registers, POSH set-up and documentation, with a prioritised fix plan.

Onboarding & employee experience

Offer-to-day-90 onboarding, welcome packs, 30-60-90 plans, engagement surveys and retention programmes.

HR operations set-up

Employee lifecycle processes, HRMS and payroll vendor selection, letters, templates and HR calendars.

Outsourced HR management

A fractional HR team that runs day-to-day HR for you — ideal for companies of 20 to 200 people.

When a growing company needs an HR consultant

Most Ahmedabad businesses run HR informally for the first few years: an offer letter template, an Excel leave tracker and the founder handling every difficult conversation. That works until it doesn't — usually somewhere between 20 and 50 employees, when a resignation turns into a dispute, appraisals feel unfair, or a client or investor asks to see your policies and compliance records.

An HR consultant gives you the structure of a mature HR function without hiring a full HR leadership team. The aim isn't paperwork for its own sake — it's fewer surprises, fairer decisions and managers who know what to do.

What an engagement with ScoutforU looks like

We start with a short HR health check: how you hire, onboard, pay, review, discipline and exit people today, and what's missing for your size and state. You get a clear, prioritised list — the risks to fix now, the processes to build next, and what can wait.

Then we build it with you: policies drafted in plain English and reviewed by your leadership, a PMS your managers can actually run, a compliance calendar with owners, and onboarding that makes new joiners productive faster. If you'd rather not run it yourself, our outsourced HR service keeps it going month to month.

Compliance that keeps up with the Labour Codes

India's four Labour Codes took effect in November 2025, consolidating many older central laws, while several state rules are still being finalised. Employers in Gujarat also have to keep track of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, the Shops and Establishments framework, POSH requirements and leave rules. We help you understand what applies to your headcount and set up the registers, filings and policies to stay on the right side of it — working alongside your legal and payroll advisors, not replacing them.

How it works

From brief to joining, in five steps

Brief call (20 minutes)

We agree the role, must-haves, salary band, notice-period tolerance and the interview loop — before a single CV moves.

Market map

We tell you honestly how many people fit, where they are and what they'll cost, so expectations are set on day one.

Screened shortlist

You get a small set of interviewed, pre-qualified candidates with notes on skills, motivation, CTC and notice — not a pile of résumés.

Interviews & feedback

We schedule, chase feedback within 24 hours and keep candidates warm, so good people don't drift to another offer.

Offer, notice & joining

We negotiate the offer, manage counter-offers and stay in touch through the notice period until the person actually joins.

FAQs

Common questions

What does an HR consultant do for a small company?
An HR consultant sets up the people processes a company needs as it grows — policies, offer and appointment letters, onboarding, appraisals, compliance and grievance handling — and coaches managers to run them. For very small teams this is often a short, fixed-scope project.
Do you provide outsourced HR on a monthly basis?
Yes. Our outsourced HR management service acts as your HR team on a monthly retainer, handling day-to-day HR operations, employee queries, letters, onboarding and exits.
Can you design our appraisal or performance management system?
Yes. We design KRA/KPI frameworks, goal sheets, review cycles, rating scales, calibration and increment guidelines, and train managers to run reviews.
Do you handle payroll and statutory filings?
We help you set up the processes, calendar and vendor for payroll and statutory compliance, and review them, but filings are done by your payroll provider or chartered accountant.
Do you also help with recruitment?
Yes — recruitment is our core service. Many clients use us for both HR set-up and hiring, so the people we hire land into a process that works.
Is your advice legal advice?
No. We give practical HR guidance and work alongside your legal counsel for anything that needs a formal legal opinion.
